Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry to check information about activity of British "The HALO Trust" in occupied lands
The Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan will check information about the activity of British "The HALO Trust" in the Armenian-occupied Azerbaijani lands, said spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan Elkhan Polukhov commenting on the information in Armenian mass medias about the activity of the said NGOs in the Armenian occupied Azerbaijani lands.
"This information about the activity of the British NGO in the occupied lands of Azerbaijan will be checked via our embassy in Great Britain", said he.
"Anyway, if the information is confirmed, the British government will be informed about illegality of any activity in the occupied lands of Azerbaijan without prior consent of the Azerbaijani officials", noted Polukhov.
Armenian mass medias report that British "The HALO Trust" has been dealing with mine clearing activities in the occupied lands of Nagorno Karabakh since 2000 at the invitation of the "NKR officials".
