Saint-Petersburg meeting between the presidents should yield positive results, official
"The forthcoming meeting between the presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia should reveal positive results," director of the Center for Strategic Studies under the Presidential Administration Elkhan Nuriyev told journalists. He informed that the presidents would meet within the frame of an economic forum in Saint-Petersburg, Russia and would discuss the settlement of the Daqliq Qarabaq conflict.
Nuriyev noted that the international community understood well that the justice in the Daqliq Qarabaq conflict lied on Azerbaijani side. “The United States, Russia and the EU recognize the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and know well who is aggressor and who is the victim of the aggression. Azerbaijan is ready to invest in Daqliq Qarabaq. However, it is possible after the Armenian armed forces withdraw from occupied territories and the IDPs return home. Armenia should make a compromise and demonstrate constructiveness on the issue.” Nuriyev said. /ANS PRESS/
