Azerbaijan may take part in the privatization of power plants in Georgia, said Marlen Asgarov, Vice-President of AzerEnerji.
“We need a large deal of funds to acquire a power plant in Georgia. If requested, we will decide to take part after discussing in the government,” he added. According to him, Georgia previously sent Azerbaijan a proposal on the privatization of hydropower plants, especially Inquri Hydropower Plant. He said Azerbaijan agreed to take part in privatization.
