NOVRUZ MAMMADOV: “UNFORTUNATELY, ARMENIAN LEADERSHIP HAS NOT SYSTEMATIC FOREIGN POLICY”
NOVRUZ MAMMADOV: “UNFORTUNATELY, ARMENIAN LEADERSHIP HAS NOT SYSTEMATIC FOREIGN POLICY”

NOVRUZ MAMMADOV: “UNFORTUNATELY, ARMENIAN LEADERSHIP HAS NOT SYSTEMATIC FOREIGN POLICY”“It is early to speak about meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian Presidents”, Novruz Mammadov, Head of International Affairs Department of Azerbaijani President’s Office told APA.

Commenting on meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian Foreign Ministers in New York he noted that the sides had discussed last situation in the region.
“The Ministers exchanged views on solution to Azerbaijan-Armenia relations, regional problems and processes, their prospects in this situation. Prospect of regional situation depends on settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict. The meeting of Presidents on solution to the conflict was discussed during the meeting”, he said.
Novruz Mammadov touched upon the fact that Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan called Azerbaijan to invest capital in Nagorno Karabakh and stated that Armenian leadership had not systematic foreign policy.
“Unfortunately, Armenian leadership does not persuade systematic foreign policy. Every day they make various statements and every time they wanted to prove their statements. It means that Armenian leadership cannot see future of the government. It is difficult to carry state, society, nation to the happiness.
Serzh Sargsyan addressed UN General Assembly and noted that Azerbaijan violated principles of international law. But whole world knows that Armenia has violated international law for 20 years. Armenia has not implemented the resolutions of the UN Security Council, occupied territories of other country and kept under control for 20 years and persuaded ethnic separatist policy. After making such speeches, Sargsyan spoke about investments and solution to the conflict. Nagorno Karabakh is a territory of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan thinks to allocate investments to its territory, but for it the conflict should be solved completely and Armenian forces should be withdrawn from Azerbaijani lands and Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity should be restored completely. After it Azerbaijan will allocate investments in Nagorno Karabakh”, he said.
Novruz Mammadov stressed that all countries of the world supported Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity.
“Russian leadership, US Vice-President recently made statements on supporting Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity. But decisive actions have not been taken yet. It is the weak side of international community. Leading countries of the world show weakness in the implementation and realization for international law. Why do not they see that their approach will cause damage to them? Last developments in South Caucasus can be analysed on this level. As the conflict is not solved and frozen, it keeps a danger in it,” he said.
