BATUMI HOSTS THE GUAM NEXT SUMMIT TODAY
GUAM Organization for Democracy and Economic Development holds its Third Summit in Batumi, Georgia on Tuesday. Presidents of the three member countries of four – Georgia, Ukraine and Azerbaijan, as well as Polish president Lech Kaczynski and Lithuanian president Valdas Adamkus will attend the summit.
Highest and high rank representatives of more than 25 countries and international organizations will join the summit held under the motto “GUAM integrating Europe’s East”. The Batumi Summit Declaration, Joint Communiqué and GUAM Declaration on the exploitation of the transport and transit potential, as well as the program of Georgian Chairmanship in the organization will be adopted at the end of the summit. Traditional GUAM+USA, GUAM+ European Union and GUAM+ Japan meetings are scheduled to be held within the framework of the summit.
