The third summit of International Organization for Democracy and Economic Development – GUAM will be held under the slogan “GUAM unites east of Europe”.

APA reports that the summit will take place in Batumi on July 1. Prior to the summit, meetings of experts of member states, as well as Coordinators’ Council will be held in this city. The meeting of GUAM Foreign Ministers’ Council will be held on July 1. Georgian Foreign Ministry said that senior officials of 25 countries and international organizations will participate in the summit. Batumi Declaration, communiqué of the summit, Declaration on use of transport and transit potential and program of Georgia’s chairmanship of the organization will be adopted during the summit. Traditional GUAM+US, GUAM+European Union, GUAM+Japan meetings will be held within the framework of the summit.
