EU-AZERBAIJAN COOPERATION COMMITTEE HOLDS MEETING IN BRUSSELS

Brussels held 9th meeting of EU-Azerbaijan Cooperation Committee on June 20, Press Service of Azerbaijani Embassy in Belgium told APA.
The meeting covers execution of EU-Azerbaijan Action Plan within the framework of European Neighborhood Policy, energy cooperation, Human Rights, freedom of speech, elections, mass media, EU support program in various fields .
Delegation led by Mahmud Mammadguliyev, Deputy Foreign Minister includes officials of various state bodies. Gunnar Wiegand, head of the European Commission’s Unit for Relations with Russia as well as the Acting Director for Eastern Europe, Southern Caucasus headed EU delegation. Officials of Slovenian Foreign Ministry, as well as specialists of European Commission and proper bodies of the Council of EU attended the meeting.
Azerbaijani delegation and EU representatives discussed issues of mutual interests on Azerbaijan’s World Trade Organization membership.
