Baku State University has conferred Honorary Doctor on Turkmen President Gurbangulu Berdimuhammedov, APA reports.

The guest has been given a diploma, gown, badge and gifts. Berdimuhammedov noted that reforms were taken in all fields, including education in Turkmenistan. Turkmen President added that education had been developed in Azerbaijan. Turkmen President stressed that the two countries had similar history and culture and relations on education were further developed between the two countries. The President of Turkmenistan added that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev had conducted productive negotiations and achieved intergovernmental negotiations.
