First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO goodwill ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva met with French ambassador Gabriel Keller on July 12.
Mehriban Aliyeva thanked for being awarded National Order of the Legion of Honour in accordance with French President's executive order.
President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation pointed out Azerbaijan-France relations are strong. According to her, the Foundation contributes to strengthening bilateral relations, in particular, cultural cooperation.
She expressed hope that large-scale joint projects would be implemented in the future and it would help strengthen ties between the two countries.
Keller pointed out both countries enjoy excellent bilateral cooperation.
The meeting also discussed establishment of the French school together with the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The project is believed to contribute to bilateral ties between the two nations.
