Diplomatic relations between the USA and Islamic Republic of Iran (IIR) were broken off after Islamic revolution of 1979. Speaking about an opportunity of restoration of diplomatic presence of the USA in IIR, Manuchohr Mottaki , according to analysts, didn’t mean the restoration of diplomatic relations in full.”The issue was the opening representations or offices of Iran in the USA and the USA in Iran.Washington already some times informally addressed to Teheran with the offer to restore diplomatic relations on a minimum level.Iran offered the terms: the USA should change the attitude to IIR, however it didn’t happen ", - said the head of the Center of studying of modern Iran Rjab Safarov.
