TOTAL IN IRAN
|
TOTAL IN IRAN In the beginning of July the news spread that French Total refused investments into discovery of gas deposits in Iran. The reason explained by the Chief of French company " Total " Christofer De Marjeri was named a dangerous political situation in Iran.
Associated with this situation Minister of Oil Industry of Iran Gulamhuyesn Nazari told:” We already declared that if someone wishes to put investments into Iran it is able to do it, if doesn’t want - we don’t insist, we are capable to carry out the plans ".
Nazari added that this theme should be investigated because " De Marjeri during last our meeting at the session in Madrid insisted on an investment of capitals into Iran and other potential countries, with the purpose of providing security in the future ".
Almost in 4 days the Russian monopolist "Gasprom" and the Iranian State Oil Company agreed to investigate the Iranian oil and gas fields in common, transfers Bloomberg.
The chieves of "Gasprom" and Iranian State Oil Company discussed creation of joint company for researches and manufactures of gas and oil, construction of the necessary equipment and installations, etc. Minister of Oil industry of Iran Gulamhuyesn Nazari declared in this issue: " We offered Russia a full package of investigation of oil and gas fields, construction of cleaning factories. This is an excellent package for Iran and Russia ". Let's note that Miller's visit to Iran was the extension of the decision of French Total to postpone plans on investment in the Iranian projects connected with investigation of southern gas deposits in order to keep Iran under pressure. On16th of July, the French power company Total SA announced that they are still interested in investments into oil-and-gas sector of Iran. General executive director of Total Christofer De Marjeri sent the letter to the Minister of Oil industry of Islamic Republic Golamhoseyn Nazari in which he denied recent messages on the output of the French company from the project on investigation of gas deposits in Southern Persia. One of top-managers of Total informed on it adding that the company " is still interested on work in Iran ".
