Despite the presence of observers, shots were heard from the opposite side, the ministry said. "The shots were heard by the representatives who held the monitoring on the Azerbaijani side. They also confirmed that the shots were heard by OSCE Chairman-in-Office Personal Representative Andrzej Kasprzyk and his field assistants, who were on the opposite side. However, Kasprzyk supposed that these shots are heard from the firing range on Armenian side. "Our soldiers who were near the village of Borsunlu also said the shots were heard not only from the firing range, but also from the opposite side toward the Azerbaijani armed forces. During the monitoring, fire was opened three times in our direction," the ministry said.
