NUCLEAR PROGRAM This month, the vice-chairman of the state secretary of the USA on political problems William Burns departed to Geneva for participation in discussions which took part on July, 19th between the secretary general of the Supreme Council of Iran on National Safety Said Jalil and the Supreme Commissioner of the European Union on Foreign policy and Safety Haver Solana. The USA estimated this step as a revolution in enrichment of uranium in Islamic republic and the State secretary of USA Condaliza Rice declared that participation of the high-ranking American diplomat in negotiations with Iran testifies to unity of the world community in a question on the nuclear program of Teheran. The president of Iran of M.Ahmadinejad also considered negotiations of the six in Geneva as a step forward. The "Six" achieves from Iran stopping of works on enrichment of uranium that can put the regime of nuclear non-proliferation under threat. Speaking about the package of proposals between Iran and the countries of "six", the chairman of the organization of Iran on atomic engineering Agazade declared that “We received an informal letter (non paper) from the West and at session in Geneva on July, 19th we will also present an informal letter. Indeed, time for studying this letter is necessary. |

WAR AGAINST IRAN Neither United States nor Israel want to risk with an attack to Iran, - said the head of Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Manuchohr Mottaki in the beginning of July. In his interview to " Associated Press" agency Mottaki particularly noted that the attack to Iran from the USA is improbable, as, the American militants as it was expressed, already are "destroyed" in Irag and Afghanistan.
But Iran will consider any aggressive actions against itself " as the beginning of war ". ITAR-TASS transfers that the commander-in-chief of the Corps of " guards of Islamic revolution "/ elite parts of armed forces/ of Islamic Republic,general-major Mohammad Ali Dzhaafari declared it.
The next coil of tension around Iran was provoked in June by several publications in the international press that became direct or indirect acknowledgement of that Israel does not exclude the opportunity of using force to make Tehran to refuse works on enrichment of uranium.
In turn, the president of the USA George Bush confirmed on Wednesday that Washington potentially didn’t exclude any variants of actions concerning Islamic Republic, but intented to make diplomatic decision about Iranian nuclear problem. |

IRAN-USA In July the head of Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Manuchohr Mottaki, giving a speech in the United Nations, stated the readiness of Tehran for restoration of diplomatic presence of the USA in Iran and opening of direct flights between two states.

REPRESENTATIVES OF COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL CHAMBERS OF RUSSIA AND EAST AZERBAIJAN LOOKED THROUGH THE WAYS OF EXPANSION OF TRADE. According to IRNA agency during a meeting of members of the Russian trade and economic delegation with heads and representatives of trade,industry and mines Chamber of Tabriz the ways of expansion of barter and development of cooperation in the field of a science and industry between East Azerbaijan province and the Russian Federation was considered.
During the named meeting the head of the Organization of development of trade of East Azerbaijan province Saddek Nejef noted present total volume of output between Iran and Russia at a rate of 3,2 billion dollars cannot be considered enough taking into account considerable potential that both countries have. |

CASPIAN According to agency " Mourge ", the director of the Organization of fishery and pisciculture of Iran ("Shilat") Vahid Zare declared that in the Caspian sea 10 fishing boats that converted from fishing schooners,engaged with fishing of tows, for surveillance in the sea and liquidation of proacher networks.
According to Vahid Zare the way of fishing with tral in deep-water and surface, applied at a fishing of various kinds of fishes, leads to serious problems from the point of view of preservation of sea fish stocks.
There is a question on the agenda of work of the Organization "Shilat" that an introduction of new ways of fishing and development of the schedule of the resolved fishing convenient for fishermen. It will allow to reduce quantity of problems with which fishermen collide, and to provide safety of fish stocks. |

TOTAL IN IRAN In the beginning of July the news spread that French Total refused investments into discovery of gas deposits in Iran. The reason explained by the Chief of French company " Total " Christofer
De Marjeri was named a dangerous political situation in Iran.
Associated with this situation Minister of Oil Industry of Iran Gulamhuyesn Nazari told:” We already declared that if someone wishes to put investments into Iran it is able to do it, if doesn’t want - we don’t insist, we are capable to carry out the plans ".
Nazari added that this theme should be investigated because " De Marjeri during last our meeting at the session in Madrid insisted on an investment of capitals into Iran and other potential countries, with the purpose of providing security in the future ". |
