The State Concern of Azerbaijani Airlines (the civil aviation department of Azerbaijan) has been reorganized as a closed joint stock company (CJSC) in line with the relevant decree of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. The shares of Azerbaijani Airlines will be totally state-owned. The company has been reorganized in order to develop civil aviation, to increase efficiency in this regard, to improve aviation services and insure the security of flights.
AZERBAIJANI PRESIDENT PARTICIPATES IN FOUNDATION OF NEW HYDRO POWER STATION
The foundation of a new hydro-power station (HPS) was held in Fuzuli District of Azerbaijan located in the frontline of the Armenian –Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh on 18 April with the participation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. The President said that the HPS located in the Araz River will supply in future electricity to Azerbaijani regions which will be liberated from the occupation of Armenian armed forces.
